love mexborough
In the summer of 2023 we prayerfully launched a mission partnership with Adam and Becks Lynch who are the founders of Love Mexborough. Love Mexborough exists to share the hope of Jesus with the people of Mexborough, England. It is estimated that only 2-3% of people in Northern England are actively engaged in the evangelical church. Every week Adam and Becks host a Thursday night gospel-focused gathering for families in the community. Every Friday, Love Mexborough hosts a free community meal showing generosity, grace, and the power of Christ to all who attend. Adam and Becks host home Bible studies for new believers and throughout the year organize ministry events like trivia nights, outreach events for children, and ministry in local schools. Interface Ministries
Interface Ministries is an organization that welcomes international university students in the community by opening their home, committing to friendship, or simply sharing a ride. The goal is to meet students where they are, listen to their stories, and share with them life, community, and hope. Hope Fellowship partners with Interface Ministries to reach the international community at MTSU. There are two specific ways to volunteer during the school year. You can become a First Friends Family by spending time monthly with an international student and being a support during their time in the US. You can also join us each Tuesday night at the BCM building on the MTSU campus for conversational English and dinner. It's a great time to meet new international friends each week! atlas weekly food program
Hope partners with Rocky Fork Elementary to provide weekend food bags to students experiencing homelessness. We provide food bags monthly to be dispersed weekly. Your donations are an integral part of this partnership. You can provide financially HERE or donate needed food items from the following list. Look for the white Atlas cart (or buggy) under the awning every Sunday morning.
The following food items are needed for food bags:
Pop-top cans such as Chef Boyardee spaghetti, ravioli, etc Individual macaroni & cheese cups Individual serving cereal boxes Individual serving shelf stable milk Individual 100% juice boxes. Individual serving peanut butter & crackers Granola bars Fruit cups/applesauce pouches Individual packs of fruit snacks, cookies, chips Tuna and/or chicken pouches Beef jerkey/turkey sticks
